......

bio lessons these days have been interesting.

so far, we've learnt that:

- the brain is a lollipop
- the brain is soft
- it melts when we touch it.
- to kill a rat, all we have to do is pull the tail and head at the same time

........

my chinese tuition teacher praised me today, for the first time in like a million years. she actually said that my prelim zuo wen was well written except for one twisted paragraph where i probably got penalized quite a bit for. :D AND today she actually commented casually that i was a lot more energetic than usual and that i should keep it up haha. for the record, i didnt even FEEL like falling asleep at all throughout the 2.5 hours, as opposed to my usual dozing off every 5-10 minutes that she needed to poke me/force me to wash my face to wake me up. -.-

maybe it's some pre O level symptom, but i really really want to do well for chinese, sciences are practically goners in my case. :/

anyway, my tuition teacher said that people who like to wash their hands all the time is probably either suffering from pressure or is insane, and she looked at me quite meaningfully after that. i would prefer to think though, that the person just likes cleanliness.

she then started telling me about school, about friends and how i really must work hard if i don't want to end up feeling disappointed or regretful next january. again, the topic went back to how friends made in Secondary schools will be the best that we'll ever have and we should treasure these friendships while we still can now. dang now i'm in a reflective mood again, but somehow i find the things my tuition teacher tells me about a lot more meaningful than anything that's said by the school teachers. it feels more personal, and real.
