hilary and i found out today the MAJOR difference between just ONE degree celcius of the aircon underground today. 25 degrees was freaking cold. but 26 degrees was too hot. they should have a 25.5 degrees sheesh.

SATURDAY

backtracking, we went queenstowning on saturday by MRT and because i wasn't the one leading the way(nat was), we got there nice and well and on time without having to leap over drains and muddy grass patches and having random people yell at us to be careful. :) so yeah, good start to the day of scrabbling.

ruth bombarded me with a whole load of school gossips along the way and i think i'm a bit more well equipped with the going-ons of our school now haha. whoever knew what went on behind those closed toilet doors. o.o (okay damn the mosquito buzzing around my leg now, YOU SUCK, YOU BLOODY IDIOT)

preliminary rounds was breezery.

first school we played against was amk sec, and they were all sec 1s. my opponent was this super cute malay kid (gab sth) who kept glaring at me accusingly after he found out that i was the team captain. nat agreed with me that he was cute, and that it wouldnt be that bad a thing if i pinched his cheeks. i tried opening up the scrab board and the bonus squares for him, i really did. but try as i might, he didnt even make use of those stuffos.:/ in the end, i won by about 320 points and we won 4-1, with jac losing by a bit. total spread was about 900+ points..? by the time i submitted the score sheets, i swear i could still hear renyue engaging her opponent in anime chat. or maybe it was just my overactive imagination, i have no idea. -.-

second game was against St andrew's and by then, i was desperately trying to hide from my ex ytss opponent who is quite a pesterer. failed in hiding, though i succeeded in ignoring him totally. the peeps from SA was sec 3 and my opp thought i was a fellow sec 3 too. hmph. i KNOW i'm short. didnt have to rub it in. anyways, won by 155 points this time and even though we won 5-0 this time, the spread was a mere 700 points or sth. when i submitted the results slip, i swear i could hear renyue engaging her opponent in animated anime talk. or maybe it was just my overactive imagination. have no idea.

third and last game was against clementi woods sec. this one was a total breeze, even though my opp scared me with a bingo on the first move. in the end, even though renyue told me that they were cheating in some unknown language(which i failed to take notice of), tamil or greek or sth, we chalked up about 1200 points spread. :)

turns out teams 2 and 3 did really well too. :) results will be out within "10 working days" but based by 3 years of past experiences, its usually 15-20 working days.

haha i miss 06 and 07 team! :D

after that MRTed home with nat, renyue and ruth and we talked and talked. popped by hub with them after nat dropped off and ate cookies before shooting home by bus.

SUNDAY!

agreed to go run with jf at 10.30 and as expected, i just couldnt wake up! reached her place maybe about half an hour late and decided that the treadmill looked too scary and devious for me to set foot on. ended up measuring my weight over and over again and to my HORROR, it went down by 0.01kg by my fifth try!! gosh. we can actually lose 0.01 kg just by weighing ourselves repeatedly?!! ok thats just retarded seriously.

jf has this mini phobia of running. :/ but i know she'll get over that somehow. :)

we played badminton after that and jf annoyingly reminded me countless times that my racket was raising heart. -.- we played two games of 21 points and she won due to the WIND and the funny and weird line calls. xD

we tried clawing the fence surrounding the court after that and her mother actually thought we were CLIMBING the fence! HAHAH, there was a door beside the fence.

went to hub to have lunch and ended walking/wandering around for really long. got chased off by coffeeshop people, ended up on some random stone bench, talked about knocking down big bears and having to wash dishes for the rest of life to pay back for the poor big bear and jf bought flowers.

watched a few episodes of strawberry anime at her house and okay it was hilarious gosh! :D

jf has a really cute keyboard that has voices ranging from high c to middle c to low c each time you bang a key. being able to conjure up voices in the middle of the night, HOW COOL. xD

MONDAY!

i realised only today that i have a weird fetish for counting the years and age of the long ago passed away generals from our history textbook and then recording down their life spans. jeez. i ought to stop.

randomed around with jiafeng after school today and as usual, we couldnt decide on where to go! ended up walking around aimlessly, yelling hellos at green parrots who incidentally yelled hello back too, laughing like some crazy dunno what in a tenchi shop, me fearing that the shelves would fall on me and commenting on weird cover pages of certain animes. was soo tired we decided to go home after that.

i slept for THREE hours.

woke up and decided to stand on a stool near the window to enjoy the breeze. my dad told me: "don't stand on the stool! don't you know that standing on stools will aggravate your ankle injury???!" ya sure.

my parents found out about our constant blogging about them and they went: "HEH HEH HEH! see, you have such amusing parents, whatever that may mean."

sis taught me the tactics of answering SEQ. she says: "just treat it like spitting vomit. but want to vomit also must aim properly, right into the hole. cannot anyhow vomit all over the place, just waste the vomit only. so you must vomit properly tomorrow for your test okay otherwise will be messy and lack of structure.

felt a bit sad today and i have no idea why haha.

can't wait for step down(even though ya, the ppl may be missed :D) !! library has a severe lack of real and productive stuffs to do sighs. :/ i so much prefer library when the red badges were around!
