seline's family is weird and she is well aware of that fact. however, she could never understand why she is the only one unaffected by the weird factor.

it was a sunday night, maybe about 11pm. seline's sister tosses and turns in the bed while she sits at her table, diligently completing her last minute homework and mugging for the chem test tomorrow.

seline's sister mumbles something about how hot the weather is and how the room is dominated by seline's really bright table light which made her unsleepable. after a while though, seline's sister sank into silence.

an hour passes by and all was well, calm and eerily quiet. seline continues plugging in to sad music and studying at the same time.

then, from out of the blue came a flurry of quick movements with a flash of white and someone yelled: "BANG BANG!! BANG BANG BANG!!"

in a state of extreme shock, seline drops the bread (man tou) soft toy she had been squeezing as a stress ball and it fell onto the floor with a Plonk and her heart threatened to leave her for that split second.

looking back onto the bed, she realised that her sister was the object of that horrible disturbance. looking closer, her sister had a broad smile plastered on her face. oh gosh. she takes joy in SCARING ppl.

okay hmm. event of the week/day/something... da jie turned 18. woosh. how OLD.

went to swenson's to eat/celebrate her birthday/fill our stomachs and the food there's GOOD. sis was being retarded throughout the whole dinner affair and she tried to force me to take pictures with her of her strangling me/glaring at me/roaring at me etc. im CERTAIN that she was just making use of this chance to torture me.

rah. didnt buy anything for her though, cos i just COULDNT think of what to get her! in the end, all i gave her was a letter i wrote in my extreme boredom during ss. -.- maybe i really should get her the ATM machine. feel quite bad about it haha. :D

anyways, whatever it is, i'm really glad we are so close to each other. otherwise, what will happen to all those heart to heart talks we have of everything under the sun in the middle of the night?! xD weird as she is, da jie will always be the beloved da jie, even at 18.

MONDAY!

okay, monday was quite uneventful except for the fact that i brushed my eye with the toothpaste in the morning! aargh okay that sounded retarded but. my mother's usual efforts to wake me up was futile and she resorted to stuffing the toothbrush into my hand. i think i was in the middle of a really sweet dream and i wanted to rub my eyes. and WHOOSH! up came the toothbrush with the toothpaste and OWWWW, my EYE. hopped around in like some bunny and oh wells. it sure did wake me up. -.-

i wonder what's with me and my dreams. there was once last year i even dreamt about the fan above the classroom falling down and killing more than half our classmates! oh gosh. there was even blood everywhere. BLOOD. in a DREAM.

anyway, went home early from school at about 4pm after a hilarious chem copying session from the non existent em c, sarah and charlyne. xD how i miss the old seats, with em chua just conveniently behind me!! :/

broke the usual monday's tradition and slept for THREE whole hours when i reached home and woke up in time to have my (sister's) cake and eat (devour) it. :D

had yet another dream at night about how i got back my O level results and got THIRTEEN points. 13! its not that bad a score and seeing my aargh now, its super possible. oh to hell with it. :/ i'd much rather dream that i had 30 points or something. cos then at least i'd know that it's something which will never happen. :S sighs. all these. just to try to prove myself. just to Try to meet expectations.

anyway! we ran 5 rounds for PE and did LOADS of crunches. as usual, i cheated though, and didnt suffer the full brunt of the intensive thingos. xD bella my usual run partner didnt come as she was down with stomach flu. :( so ran with zijin, who was too fast for me haha! so in the end, became tired like shit.

TUESDAY!

OH. tuesday was funny. haha had a long chat with hilary during history about lotsa stuffs and i openly used my phone despite the warning by g wong in the morning assembly. we totally didnt give a care to poor seth tan, who was talking to thin air the whole way.

got yelled at very nicely by jf during recess cos she wanted me to pei her go recess so she could tell me all about kanna. HAHA, my ex tablemate's hilarious! we walked around school and talked and yakked for almost the entire recess and ended up making our stop on two random plastic chairs outside the drama studio. an indian teacher floated past and gave us THE "what the hell are you two doing in the middle of nowhere sitting on two plastic chairs with the exact same sitting position" LOOK. we hang out at the most unusual places really. so far, there are the random chairs, the random stairs, the random benches, the random corners, the random feeding room and probably a fat lot more. :D

english today involved the constant flashing of big belly, as well as white and green underwear. myra and i were even debating about who to warn him about his really weird dressing sense. freaking funny! plus the whole class was laughing away and only the person in question didnt realise.

yada khoo dropped a shell on me today, "figuratively" in her words. she actually said to me: "tuesdays are always like that. 2 hours without you." hmmm. hm hm. hello. she does not even talk to me except for the occasional line or two about studies, studies, studies. so what's the difference if i'm there or not i wonder. haha okay darn, if i continue i'm gonna get a bit mean. shall stop here. xD

cca today was talkative as usual. an old senior came back and jodie, jasmine, pui san, vanessa and me just yakked away about the library board and stuffs. it was actually quite productive! i actually researched, really RESEARCHED during library hours haha. hee roxanne will be glad. xD

am beginning to like tuition more and more. korean guy, who got on the wrong end of his hairdresser and ended up having BANGS was just so FUNNY and LAUGHABLE. we all talked and joked a lot as usual and now everyone knows about my hearing problems haha oops. :D
