Disclaimer: I am trying my hand at seriousness. so! this post is going to be as serious and boring as i can make it to be. Please read it at your own peril. =)

but first, "a peek into what's me" (my first official column about me and more me):

Past and present has it that I'm one of the least observant person on earth(i'll limit it to one planet. who knows what aliens or predators outside our world are up to anyway). I swear, my classmates can walk to class one day with an extra pair of arms or a third eye and i'd never notice. things can missing and i'd realise it only days or even weeks later. i can wear my shorts or socks the other way round and not realise it. BUT, put some maths or bio worksheets in front of me and i'd go hopping mad at the grammatical/vocabulary/spelling errors. (hello, supposed masters in your field.)

THAT's why i like reading The Straits Times so much. errors are kept to the minimum. ok great, there i go, talking about newspapers again. but seriously, they play such a big part in our lives(well i don't know about you, but it is the case for me)! trouble is that i doubt they'll ever hire someone who is deranged(in other people's words) or even worse, someone whose Sec 3 form teacher didnt pick her to write the commonwealth essay(imagine the hurt it could do to "potential writers" when your form teacher does not appreciate your writings enough to pick you to write the commonwealth essay even though you've been picked consecutively for years since primary school. not like i'll really write it anyway, but that's beside the point).

this "writer"'s self esteem is currently hovering at point zero. and she will not take it lying down as long as she still aspires to be a newspaper columnist next time.

.................................

Which is WHY my new mantra would be to write serious posts on weekends.

.................................

In school, teachers are everywhere(whether you like it or not, duh). boring as the bulk of them are, they admittedly still play a humongous part in our school life. today, my focus would mainly be on a certain library teacher and my much mentioned form teacher, both of whom play a big part in my life now(whether i like it or not).

blah blah blah
...............................

DISCLAIMER: the post above is purely an attempt to have a go at seriousness. it's all in the name of good fun(for me).
