Who? My jie, jeridyn, michelle, xinyi & me

What? We got champs for the 6th interschool scrabble finals for the cup category!! =D

Where? My dear dear MARINA SQUARE (the memory square)

How and Why? we were really lucky and had GREAT team spirit! (=

COMMENTS: Xiang dang nian....... one of my happiest memories was the marina square win lah.. gosh, how nostalgic. i really miss our team! but nvm, i shan't dwell in the past...

PRESENT

Who? Xin yi (DONGDONG), wei duo, nic ann lee, me, renyue.

What? got 2nd runner up (3rd la) for 6th interschool scrabble finals cup category. (still cup lah) =))

Where? NUS multi purpose hall..

Why and how? we were GOOD but not good enough.

COMMENTS: sometimes, it's hard to put into words how you really feel.. but well. it has been FUN! all those scrabbling together, all those "arguments" & all the laughter.. I shall, and will, safelock all these memories in my head. but for now, its time to say byebye again.. )= i'll miss nic, vic and especially dongdong! *sighs. have to witness yet another dispatching of a team..

PANG HUISY: you'll probably see this, someday, somehow. wells. you've been a nicey! but u should seriously considering feeding your dog properly so that he will not resort to chewing the poor "C" tile. =D

GOH ZHENYING: u MAY see this. but i'd rather you not. hee. YOU LA! everytime smack my head, want to kill my brain cells right! *cries* but ya know what, u CAN be a QUITE nice senior when you WANT to. (= even though you may have signed off your farewell note to me with HATRED!! hrumph.

TIXI DONGDONG: you MIGHT see this when u decide to go around blog hopping. DONGDONG ah! you'll leave a HUGE DONG in lib lah! SIGHS why you got no jie ban ren to amuse us??!! WHAT A WASTE. ahh wells. your SELF CONVO not bad eh??? and HOR, why is my STAMP worth only 1 cent! haha :D GO NAtional(even though ur bro is there)!! continue ur scrab! hah but doubt u'll go there. OUR SCRABBLE STUFFS 2007

-1st Game: Fuhua Secondary

Score:5-0

My opponent's name: Caiyun (quite nice! =) sec 2)

Our total spread= 700 sth or 900 sth.

-2nd game: Clementi Town Seocndary

Score: 3-2 (Xin yi and nic lost..)

My opponent's name: daximo or dasimo (sec 4)

Total spread: 60+?

-3rd Game: Xin Min Secondary

Score: 5-0

My opponent's name: Royce Woo (shuai de jiu bi jiao rong yi ji de. haha no la just that he had a nice smile.. sec 2 only! )

total Spread: a few hundred?

-4th Game: Hwa chong institution

score: 3-2 (ren yue and nic lost.. )

my opponent's name: Fangchen (sec 1 only and chao fun to talk to lah! haha abit we started suaning each other from the start even though we hardly knew each other! he must be my Di in my previous life.. XD )

total spread: about a few hundred?

-5th game: Raffles institution

score: 3-2 (xinyi and nic lost.. )

my opponent's name: ANDRE (also sec 1 but complete contrast from my HCI opp??? one so nice the other so......... nvm)

total spread: negative!! )=

my Comments on first game: Fuhua was relatively easy to play against and our spread chalked up was quite a lot. haha, they were really friendly and nice though!! (=

-2nd game: Clementi Town hah. hmm, a whole different thing le. they were all quite pro.. and nic's opponent, this sec 3 guy, is national player!! and they were a bit scary.. like bukit panjang gov high last yr. they seemed as though they were hell bent on winning and that resulted in some misunderstandings between our team and theirs.. chao scary lah.. wei duo's opponent even cried after the game cuz she lost.. *shivers*

-3rd game: xin min sec. haha, xinyi and i both think that renyue's opponent, arthur or sth, was quite shuai. haha, but he's sec 2 only la. and my opponent was really nice! and had a nice smile. =D nic ann lee's opponent was also really cute lah, xiao xiao zhi de.. this game was more qing song,and the people were considerably nicer and not as uh, scary as the former. (oh and this was when one of the st pat boy, a runner, ran up to me to tell me that his friend, justin, thought he knew me, cuz i looked like his friend or sth. HMMM? i dun know any st pat guy. DO i???)

-4th game: HWA CHONG!! ahh manns. my opponent was really fun to talk to! haha, we were rattling on as though we knew each other luh. hah and we kept "scolding" each other too.. the boy beside him was noisy too! but cute. haha, he kept complaining that weiduo bully him by thrashing him and should be given 200 points penalty, which xinyi(at the other end of the table) also heard almost every word. HAHA but they were a fun lot man. (= sec 1 only, got potential sia!

-5th game: Raffles institution ah. hmm. the ones we played against last year was so much nicer i swear! my opponent this year was i dunno, particular? and seriously a case of a pot calling the kettle black. but i shan't go into details. sounds so uh bitchy. =D haha, wo shi bu hui gen zhe zhong opponent ji jiao de. (=

ohh yah. that reminds me. NUS is really prettaye looking man! haha, but their fried bee hoon not say very nice leh. all of us who bought it, me, xinyi and jacq were the bee hoon's poor victims.

hmm been a long time since i last posted such a long entry! haha, shall go sleep le. tmr hai yao zao dian qi lai to go spects stand for prize presentation.. (=

-Afternote:
- scrab without my jie, jeri & mich was weird. but NOW, scrab without dongdong will be even weirder! the goofing around, the suanings and all those "see who counts faster" scrabbling.... that's it man. )'= hmm but well, time flies, and we all have to pangseh each other eventually anyway.. ):

thinking back, 3 years ago, i was never close to my seniors. it was only til the beginning of sec 2 when we formed scrabble teams that we became more bonded.. all those scrabbling sessions with each other, both at school and at home (where we had PLENTY of fun!) somehow brought us together.. it was also the great team spirit we had which brought us the CHamps trophy last yr.

then, a year flew by quickly and the grey badge had to leave. i got closer to the red badge(mainly the scrabbies) after sometime and we had fun together! some librarians may not have been close to the seniors.. but i was/am. (=

now, it's time to really say goodbye to them. after the recent scrabble finals, we have to lift our heads up to say farewell. i may never see them again, but what matters is that we probably had great memories together... haha, am having loads of flashbacks now.. they're all flooding back to me.. and i realise that most of those memories somehow contain our dear dongdong.. the 06/07 years with the red badge(scrabbies especially) has been really great and i'll miss ya all! whee, you all MUSNT forget ur fellows scrabbies. *squints eye
