it has been a really really really long time since i last blogged here.. since i sort of prefer writing in diaries, where ur entries are private.. frankly, i find blogs pretty superficial but ah well, im a guilty party too.. i wish i can post entries on my blog but it remains private.. haha but obviously cannot lah.. heck. i just want to remember my exam results.. but it comes across as if im so dua pai. haiz. :(

argh.. i cut my hair recently and it feels funny with fringe..

anyway.. after slogging around for weeks on end, we had our eoys and even the results back. im ok with my results, save for maths and physics. alright, here's my summary( rounded up):

ENGLISH - 23/30 for compo. 16/25 for compre. 24/25 for summary.
OVERALL: 63/80. 79% (i topped my class with this low mark. weird?? hmm at least i didnt disappoint myself in my best subject. but heck. im so not going to send my essay to miss goh shan, it's not even worthy or being in inspiration and i myself know best.)

ENGLISH LITERATURE - 19/20 for unseen prose. 14/20 for macbeth (argh!! horrible.. ) 15/20 for the good earth.
OVERALL: 48/60. 80% (second in class) (ok reasonable, but what's with macbeth??! eww. )

HISTORY - 68/80. 85% (top in class... guess my choice of elective is confirmed. )

GEOGRAPHY - 62/80. 78% (second in class. another weirdy.. )

BIOLOGY - 24/30. 80% (no idea of my rank tho. not amongst the top im sure)

CHEMISTRY - 23/35. about 66% (top in class. ??? a B3 can top the class? im getting seriously weirded out)

PHYSICS - 14/35. 40% (hah! my worst ever. probably bottom 10 in my class. heck. im not taking physics anyway. )

CHINESE - 17/20 for letter writing. 37/50 for compo. 55/90 for main paper.
OVERALL: 109/160. about 68%. (3rd in class. this one was crap. i went thru the paper with my tuition teacher and she got so pissed at the setter. fellow sec 2ans who takes chinese, please review the multiple choice compre part again. i assure u that u will find countless flaws. they got the answer horribly wrong!!! but forget it. its their problem. )

MATHS - 26/50 for paper 1. 31/50 for paper 2. 58/100. (no positioning in class even. probably well in the bottom 15?? horrible. my maths suck.....)

those are the summary. haiz. now im torn for the subject combination part. i seriously have no idea what i really really want.. but for now i guess i'll be taking history for elective. and bio and chem for sciences bah. i want to go to an EC class next year, because i like challenges. i wouldnt mind being the bottom of the top for sometime since i've been top of the bottom for two years in certain areas. i need a class where i get pushed along, instead of my current state, where i dun even need to put in much effort in tests and exams and still come out a favourable position in class. in this state, i will only be too self confident and not improve myself... those are just some pieces of my thoughts i guess.. plus what my sister put into my head. i have to be among the best to improve. and that statement goes for everyone. so instead of comparing marks all the time.. it'd be better to work hard and improve and not be so... calculative about other people's marks? yeah, those are my opinion. a bit confusing again.. but ah heck it.

im reading the da vinci code now. its a really intellectual book compared to some other books which have no sense at all. to improve one's english, we should read books like these i guess, instead of reading kiddy books. i shant touch on the religious part of the book but other than that, it's almos flawless mann.. i love that book... so thick and nice... heheh. i have a funny penchant of liking thick books even tho i have absolutely no idea why.. :D i wish the newest harry potter book gets released soon.. i seriously cant wait for it...

i've been watching soo many shows since the holiday... here's a brief summary...

- magicians of love (ai qing mo fa shi)(this show's pretty shweet)
- devil beside you (e mo zai sheng bian) (great show!!! one of my all time favourite)
- full house (currently still watching on youtube.. pending. )
- garo (japanese drama) (great drama!! so cool! haha.. watched the whole series on youtube.. )
- my sassy girl (a movies of 2 or 3 years ago but nonetheless, sweet like anything! AWWW. )
- shutter (watched on youtube.. quite creepy in a way but sadly, no english or chinese subtitles, so i couldnt really understand their thai dialogue)
- the fog (i borrowed this from the CD rental shop near mcdonalds. quite interesting i suppose.. it was supposed to be horror but it turned out a little funny when i looked out of my window and saw "wow! 150 PSI fog!")
- zathura (borrowed this from isabelle.. quite funny.. i wanna play that board game too!! but i just hope that my sis wont wish me away..... :( )
- twins effect 2 (i burned a copy of this but haven watched it yet.. )
- GOONG!!! (gosh, great show mann... i love the show!! plus yul's so...... cute?? ahyo.. he's better looking than shin but aiya, they're both likeable people lah.. )

yeah.. so for my holiday so far, i've been watching, playing and reading as usual.. plus shopping.. but the main holidaying part starts when my sister's Os are over.. i find it really hard to play games and watch dramas and movies without her around... no one to discuss with and in the case of computer games, no walking walk through.. :DD
