dang it.. the flu and throat bug has hit me - finally. after one year and three months of bug free life, the dreaded thing has befallen me.(the last time i got sick was last march when i was sitting for the scrabble competition with stefanie they all. how long ago was that?? i had practically forgotten what it's like to be sick...?) drat it. right now, i am sitting on my chair in front of the computer, wheezing and sneezing for all i am worth, and at the same time, hurting my damned throat. aargh. if this goes on, how am i supposed to present the stupid racial harmony day speech thingy to the school? i cant possibly read out that six sentences or so with such a scratchy voice right? nobody would understand what i am saying.. haiz.. i hope this bug doesnt get any worse.. i dun wanna break my record for fever (like, 2 years ago?) too.. as far as i remember, the only time i didnt report to school because of fever was way back in p3.. other than that, i had to go to school everyday. yucks. alalala, plus i've still got to watch the third placing playoff and the final.. :( anyway, i guess it's time to recap my week again as usual..

monday: i think i blogged on monday so wassup? nothing.

tuesday: i think i blogged too, did i? ok watever. this was one hell boring of a day. what with learning the ropes of the adobe photoshop thing. hello?? i am so not interested in computer stuffs. i'd much rather go for my comm meeting. anyway, they are having the elections of office bearers next week. from my level, roxanne, xinying and myself got shortlisted, according to moi sis. frankly speaking, i dun really like being in the committee.. it's because i am busy scrambling for cca points as a benifit for my o levels that i am here. if i had managed to scrap thru to study higher chinese by getting that one mark two years back, i would possibly still be a "normal" person now. responsibilities are a scary thing and i know i am not someone with leadership qualities or whatsover.. but i dun have a choice.. this is my only chance to stock up more cca points for further use. regretting for something that happened two years ago can only get you thus far.

wednesday: we had our home ec test today. again, i guess i flunked it, as with all the tests i get nowadays. i was busy doing the jian baos which li lan made us do - 8. each one totalling at least 200 words. the good earth mcq test dint go as well as i had expected it to be too. it was tricky albeit easy and i fell into their trap i suppose. :(

thursday: geography lessons are such a bore. plus the teacher seems scary. plus i am the stupid geog rep. how horrid. this is practically my worst and hatest subject. i am so glad i am not taking geog in upper sec. anyway, the whole of library took a trip to kinokuniya to buy books for the library. we had to choose a few books each to buy and after that, the scrabble ppl get to choose a few books amounting to fifty bucks and put our names there as part of our donation. it's sad isnt it? we couldnt choose extra books because apparently, we surpassed our initial budgets. i recommended jodi picoult's "the pact" and "plain truth", plus "the beautiful child" by haydens. i guess i shall put that as my donation too. after all, they add up to about fifty bucks. mrs tian didnt want trashy books, so we all actually ended up choosing literature style books. but at least i like reading jodi picoult's books.. :) haha, xinyi got quite upset that her "robinson" crime series were "ousted" by mrs tian and she got pissed. too bad for her.... :D

friday: i didnt realise my birthday was two months away til jolene reminded me. seriously, i guess i had practically forgotten that there was such a thing as birthday. ah wells. memories deteriorate after some time i suppose. anyway, i did the world cup new paper quiz today and amassed up some 47 points out of the total possible of 53. it fell under the "the title is yours-take it" category. i was like, wow. i only got two questions wrong. out of the 20 questions, i wasnt sure about 3 so the tikums came in. out of the three tikums, i only got a measly one correct, which means that my luck hovers somewhere between 33.333333333333%. that's probably an early hint to tell me not to go into betting next time. i shall heed the advice. anyway, i didnt know that fabio capello question and the place of the dunno what stadium. the rest were actually quite easy, as long as u follow soccer avidly. (like me, hehehe. ) i was reading michael owen's blog and his entries are filled with such witty humour. he talked about the few movies he saw in life and blah blah. haha, it's no wonder he gets so much time to write in his blog.. he's injured.. hmmm, xabi alonso's english seems quite good.. wow, a spaniard with a good command of english.. (: watched visible secrets today.. and it was such a weird show.. old fashioned things/people are really scary, judging by the kind of clothes and wear and the kind of aura they emit. hmmm. what with the bunned up hair and all..

today: yeah. finally back to today. i'll be watching the germany v portugal match later on at night.. i guess i'll be rooting for germany.. as for the final...? ya, watching. cant stand raffles institution. it's so unfair. why arent there more people in st nicks who like soccer?? wth. even if i try to suggest something like that to the school, i will probably not get unanimous support.. what the hell. sometimes i wish i go to a boys' school. never mind, i shall just go to school with black, panda eyes... . the problem is, the teacher wont understand why i sleep in class the following day. cuz we have very few male teachers. too bad for me... aiya, after world cup, it'll be soccer free for quite some time.. i cant stand not having soccer to watch.. after wc, i wish time would pass faster so that epl can kick off again and the euro 08 qualifier will start.

whatever. i am writing crap. i shall go surf the soccer websites now... get more information..
