really.. if not that, then what? i was watching the japan versus croatia game and for the sake that japan is an asian team, i was sorta siding with them so... when croatia was awarded a penalty for a foul in the penalty box. i was thinking to myself: "goalkeeper save the penalty leh.. " and i imagined the japanese goalkeeper jumping to his left and saving the penalty. and u know what really happened?? the croatian penalty shooter shot to the goalkeeper's left and he REALLY did save it!! hahaha. such a ... bizarre thing. probably coincidence only tho otherwise if i really have... uh.. powers, why do i still do so badly in the ppr?

anyway, i got so pissed with that columnist in lifestyle that i felt like bashing him up. he was racial discriminating and there was no doubt about that.. i would have written in a long essay to the straits times if i had the time. so i only sent in a short sms which depicted my utter disgust and disapproval to such pathetic writing. the columnist thought he knew everything about soccer whereas women does not even have a slightest clue or knowledge about what the game is all about and condemned women just because he probably came across a few "rotten apples" (no offence). please, it has to be made clear that soccer is a global sport that any gender can enjoy. i believe that there must be many among girls and women alike who are knowledgeable about soccer. has it ever occurred to the self proclaimed "i know about soocer, a lot" columnist that many women play the sport too? what's more, he lambasted the female gender that all of them could not tell the difference between michael owen and owen wilson. pullease, use something more creative. that is so passe. the lack of innovative juices is so clearly portrayed. if an avid straits times' reader's opinion is ever needed, let me tell you this, i think that the one who should just shut his trap is mr columnist himself. he's doing himself absolutely no favours by incurring the wrath of true female soccer fans. i dun see what he gets to gain from this. some thoughts(especially lopsided and one sided ones)ought to be kept private and better still, banished. well anyway, he can say what he wants and we have the rights to critisise. after all, it is just some immature and childish thinking from an adult. as a kid, i should not bother myself with these kind of shallow thinking so obviously lacking depth.

okok, i better not say too much. the world is not as free as it seems. i have to get back to doing my science report instead of expressing my complaints on certain people. even tho i sorta feel sad that i cant continue on my short paragraph.. :( wadever! gosh i feel so glad that i dun have to do the experiment man. i was so stumped when i was expected to do it. luckily i managed to stumble out from that situation and i'm saved. my homework is still not done and i am burdened with that stupid da chang jin thingy. anyway, i am reading memoirs of a geisha now. i think it is a great book and i really must read more books to order to save a deteriorating vocabulary. (i realised that when i wrote that short paragraph above this. my vocab is soo limited! like a primary kid's. haiz. :( )

anyway, ghana was greeat! so many attacking chances man. if petr cech wasnt as flexible, the czech republic would have lost by at least 2 more goals. kudos to him! :)
