gosh.. i am such a pig.. i keep waking up at 10 plus everyday!! seriously, if this goes on, i am never going to be able to complete my holiday homework.. there's still a whole big pile of them sitting on my writing table and i just cant bear to even look at it.. for one thing, that chang jin assignment is not even zero point one percent done. that little bit which i DID do, was writing my name. >.< hmmm. what a sucky situation to get stuck in. furthermore, the night time of 7pm to 12am is spent on watching football matches and some other programmes. i just cant bear to miss any soccer matches that i am able to watch, especially those airing at 9pm. which explains my plight now. this is the price a schooling soccer fanatic(and a radio listener) has to pay.. :`(

anyway, i was watching the south korea and togo game two nights ago and i almost couldnt tahan watching it til lee chun soo scored from the free kick park ji sung earned. well, after all, south korea was the asian team i supported in 2002 and now, in 2006, it's no different. we all cheered when ahn jung hwan scored south korea's second goal and my dad was "GOAL"ing away and my mum was like wowing away.. i was softer with my "yes!" and my sis actually came out from the toilet with her toothbrush stuck in her mouth and smiled. hahah, looks like our support for our asian team has not wavered. :) later on in the night, france could only manage a draw..... and brazil?? a mediocre 1-0 win, the winner being scored by kaka in the what 44th minute? hmm, i think kaka looks quite cute... :)

ohh ya. i watched spain vs the ukraine last night and the straits times' star gazer, Andriy shevchenko didnt shine.. instead, fernando torres and co shone. hehe, and my sis and i were commenting on his rosy cheeks.. but he still look quite nice.. those sorta boyish looks.. :D he was really pacy during the match... and earned himself a penalty(albeit a controversial one) and an 81st minute goal.. david villa and xabi alonso scored too... and made the match an interesting one... a 4-0 rout of the ukrainians sia.. so far the best performance.. since even brazil only managed that 1-0 win... :))

tonite i am gonna stay up til about 2 plus.. to catch england vs trinidad and tobago... hopefully england win... :) wonder if they'll play rooney tho.. seems like a hot topic nowadays.. the will he wont he saga. hmmm, does england only revolve about rooney?? i think not right. yeah, he's definitely a great footballer, but they cant just depend on him alone... there are other players who can make a difference...

P.S. i love filling up that world cup calendar.. nice to see all the results on one nice page.. :))
