first thing on my list is the wedding of jeremy and macy. pardon me for saying this but i think our cousin looks weird smiling on his big day. it was so... well, forced? haha, perhaps i think too much.. anyway, it was held at a small room with 10 tables at a restaurant, hardly the grandest of all restaurants but comfy enough. we were seated with unknown people to certain extent and it was boring. no fifth aunty(who always sit with us during these kinda events) to entertain us and no alex to conjure up some dramatic refuting actions. but on a whole, the food served was pretty ok. aargh. why do i feel as though i am writing that banana leaf apolo review all over again?? (anw, here's a tongue firmly in cheek comment: almost all brides are pretty, because the ugly ones seldom get married.) just kidding la. it's not true. :P almost all my uncles were talking about the world cup and how boring the england and paraguay match was. hmm, and my sister was content with just reading her memoirs of a geisha thruout. so i doubt she caught any interesting convos for us to gossip about.. :( wait a minute. talking about my sister, i suddenly remembered my dream last night. gosh i cant believe i actually dreamt up something like that. how can my sis be so daring in real life to incur the wrath our mom and dad??? it's like, impossible. but some dreams are pretty twisted from reality i guess. i really dun think i should type out my dream here. it involves uh someone i dun really like.... to talk about. AND, i was so ... bizarre.. haha, perhaps my dream mind is really ahem, innovative or sth? ah heck.

Hmmm. i STILL haven done my da chang jin thingy yet.. My tuition teacher got confused by the topics too, so it's sad... :( so far, i have my physics and geog paper plus chang jin left.. Luckily I am done with the rest. phew. i took such a long time doing that stupid book reviews and that banana leaf apolo food review. i think i wrote crap but... heck. i'm feeling lethargic now.. perhaps i should go get some rest.. so as to rejuvenate myself for south korea and togo later..

anyway, for last night's match of japan versus australia, my prediction came true.. i expected tim cahill from everton to score and australia would win. it was pretty accurate.. i think australia will probably knock japan out and advance to the last 16. i was watching that match last night and for a moment i thought it was going to end up with another lacklustre 1-0 win(like England, the Netherlands and Portugal) again. i mean, australia left it late, REALLY late before going on a scoring spree. tim cahill scored at what.. the 84th minute. and after that it sorta opened the floodgates for australia and they scored 3 in less than 7 minutes.. a victory for them.. must have been really important.. what with brazil being in their group.. anyway, i didnt catch the usa and czech republic match tho.. cuz i was tired.. it ended 3-0 in the czech's favour. italy beat ghana 2-0 later on.. didnt watch it too.. i'll watching south korea and togo later and rooting for the former. haha, after all, they were the country i supported together with england in japan/southkorea 2002. they're an asian team after all. if singapore manages to qualify someday(and when i say someday i really mean someday) believe me, i'll throw away any support for south korea and england and just concentrate on our country alone.. IF it ever happens. but your guess is as good as mine. if singapore claims that one foot is already in for qualifying, it'll probably be because singapore has too many feet. but it'll still be a dream for us singaporeans, no matter how far it will be for us to reach. :)

after saying all those crap, i still hope england will win this world cup anyway..(and hopefully they dun blame the sweltering heat if they experience any hiccups) after all, nothing's impossible in football. ain't i right? ((:
