i've got quite a number of things to rave and rant here mann.. and obviously it had something to do with the games carnival... first of all, it was really unfair.. especially for the floorball team. hearing what rita and clara lim had to say about the miscalculation of the points had me fuming... even tho it wasnt my game... i mean, who wouldnt be angry?? our class was supposed to advance into the semi finals of floorball but the people had an error and made truth advance instead... rita and her team confronted the girls calculating the points and they found out that they DID miscalculate the scores and made a mistake. but do u know what they said?? "sorry, but it's too late" or something to that extent anyway... it was downright unfair!! the sheer injustice of these people!! couldnt they do something to make up for that ridiculous mistake of theirs??? if they had calculated accurately, things would have been different. the floorball team might even bring glory to our much looked down upon class... but no, the so called judges(or whatever they were supposed to be called)merely apologised blandly and that was it. there were no announcements of their supposed mistake or whatsoever.

the football semi final game between our class and charity also sparked controversy among us people. jolene and i clearly saw that the "goal" which charity scored was not real. i've watched enough football matches to tell u that a goalpost's net cannot be in tatters. yet, they were in tatters and that marked the downfall of our class' soccer team. jolene and i saw the ball fly outside the goalpost beside it and the ball somehow slid thru the tattered net and lay obediently in the mouth of goal. but the so called referee did not see that and blew the whistle. please, spare us that. yet, it could just be something which the referee overlooked like in all other professional soccer matches. however, i cannot deny that charity deserved being crowned the soccer champions. they put up pretty good performances for almost all the matches and their goalkeeper(genin. :) was superb! there were no flying saves, but the stomach saves made up for them. she was really good during the penalty shootout in the final mann... i was applauding her and supporting charity at the same time. after all, whatever that happened isnt there fault and it never was. :)

i played carrom and jolene, isabelle, valery, blanche, magdalene and amanda were in my team. it was real fun. i played three games(two games as doubles with jolene and one game of singles). jolene and i lost our first game to truth but drew our second game against justice. i played a singles match as well and won against wisdom. but that was it. no more games played as i began to feel bored. furthermore, amanda wanted to play the remaining games as she was supposed to be the umpire. i remember watching a match between valery/isabelle and another pair from loyalty. that girl from loyalty!!!!! christ... she jing ran had the cheek to claim a point for a flick which her partner was sceptic about. i mean, her partner was like saying in chinese: "wah! like that also can ah? i was shooting the other side leh... " jolene, valery, isabelle and i saw the carrom counter fly OUT of the table and not thru the net. haiz... but they still claimed their point and because of that, we lost that round to them. :((((( in the end, our class won nothing at all. that was really sad. well at least i finally had the chance to confront my form teacher about the CIP thing...

anyway, to sum it all up, all these are further proof that nothing in this world is fair. and i am speaking from experience.
