i just read the newspaper(lifestyle) today and was really surprised by what i saw on one of the pages there. it was an article on Singapore's brainiest kid. i know i'm being too candid and blah blah....... but i really think that the three kids should actually be called the rainiest kids. i'm not trying to slam them down or anything as dumb as that, but that is a pure fact. the way the newspaper published about those three kids were as tho they've just won some prestigious scholarship to Harvard University in advance. please, you tell me, 9/20 and 10/20. u call that guang rong? imagine getting that kind of score for your PPR or sth like that. some people might even hit the ceiling! the top one there got a score of 14/20. ok, that is fine, but NO GOOD. i mean, even someone as dumb as myself could get a 17(i'm 12yrs old too. birthday not here yet), how on earth can SINGAPORE's BRAINIEST kid get 14, 10 and 9???? to be published like that in the newspaper, i really think it is a complete disgrace. it is not because singapore lacks talent in that area or whatsoever, but it is just that kids who can get full marks did not join! what is the point mann?? when the brainiest kid who have all those general knowledge and will definitely get full marks is not there? what i'm actually trying to say is- this is a really stupid show. what is the point of having the show in the first place when one can easily get full marks in their "test" if one is not a hermit crab(newspapers and tv)? i dun think there is any at all. i know i can get sued for saying things like that on my blog. but do i care?? no. because this is just my OPINION. it cannot be judged if it is right or wrong- an opinion is an opinion, it is just our thoughts and what we feel about certain stuffs.
