i finally understood the true meaning of these words.




in just less than 24 hours after the international olympic committee announced that London had emerged victorious for their bid for the 2012 olympic games after ousting hot favourites Paris, there came reports that four massive bomb explosions had taken place in various parts of London. what that was meant to be a day of celebration and joy became a day of tragedy. with more than 50 people killed and 700 injured, it was one of London's worst attack.



i juz read the newspaper articles on the attack in London and the survivors' stories...how saddening and horrifying they were!bodies which were blown apart, limbs which were severed, people who were screaming their heads off. those were the echo of the survivors' account of wad happened. despite the fact that these were all common country folks, neither politicians nor important people, the terrorists or whoever they were refused to spare them. exactly wad have they done wrong to deserve all these?? i feel really sad for these people who have lost their loved ones in the attack... Likewise, the people who did not make it in the 911(tho i was barely 9), Bali and Madrid attacks.
