Horrid Ending cuz i'm an avid fan


What the heck la. i finished reading my Harry Potter book at 9.50pm last night and slammed it shut with a scowl on my face. wadever happened to those fairytale endings in books 1 to 3?? i wont deny that it was a good read overall(all those funny funny things happening), but all sorts of tragedy are taking place... especially Dumbledore dying in the hands over someone he had always trusted. Severus Snape, the half blood prince, the traitor and betrayer! He used the Avada Kedavra curse on Dumbledore, despite his pleadings. How ironic!!! how many times had Harry tried to warn Dumbledore that Snape was not to be trusted? ARGH! i guess the author was juz trying to make this book grim and sad, but i hate sad endings(even tho it is only a book) and mite even brood over it for several days. Also, Harry tot of not returning to Hogwarts the next year! then there did be no more laughter in the book! Already, the importance on quidditch had been cut down by a lot, having little mention of it now. Now, not Hogwarts(the place of most laughter and joy actually) too! Dun tell me the next book is gonna be about all those Horcruxes? Oh, and Ginny still did not end up with harry in the end -.- cuz he didnt want Voldemort(wince) to hurt her or sth. EVERYTHING IS SAD! ARGH.



Yeah yeah. i know i'm too obsessed with this book, but i cant help it. i've started reading the first book when i was in p1! since then, i've read each book more than ten times liao... except for the fifth and sixth book duh. Haiz, i was so upset over the ending that i did not even have the mood to listen to my sis rant about her trip to Choa Chu Kang stadium(these kinda things usually get me quite enthu :P )to support SNGS. Yeah, wadever. Not everything will turn out the way u want it. It only happens in fairytales, and in this case, Harry Potter is not a fairytale, but merely a book of magic and wizardry and anything and everything can turn out unpleasant.

Oh well. i can only wait for the movie of the fourth book happily and patiently- where sirius and Dumbledore are still well and alive, and where the humour still far surpasses the darker side of the book.
